Want To Make Money Online? Here Are The Fundamentals Of Success

July 16, 2010 By: Mike Koller Category: Internet Marketing

There are dozens, if not hundreds of different ways for you to be able to make money online. Regardless of the path that you choose, however, there are some basics that need to be followed which will not only help you to get set up properly, they will help you find success as quickly as possible.

Whether you know it or not, setting up a home based business successfully online, is similar to setting up a traditional business.

The reason why that is the case, outlines a very basic fact about starting an online business that many people tend to overlook.

Whatever kind of business you are setting up online or offline, never forget that it is still a business. This means that as with all businesses the focus must always be on the customer.

Unfortunately, many people tend to overlook the customers whenever they are working online, simply because they are not dealing with people face-to-face. It may also come about as a result of the sheer volume of people that you can move through your website on a daily basis.

If you successfully learn how to treat these people as individuals, you would be surprised with exactly how much you are able to get accomplished. In fact, this is something that can set you apart from the competition in many cases, and push your business to the top.

One of the first things that you’re going to want to do whenever starting an online business is to come up with a business plan. This is also something that many people tend to overlook, wanting to push ahead with their online business before they know the direction in which they are pushing.

It is important to describe where you are at the start, but also important to list achievable goals that can be reached in year 1, year 2, year 3, year 5 and beyond. You will probably add more to the list and remove some of these, but this is how a plan works. The idea is to give you focus.

Something else that you may want to consider is that as your business begins to grow online, it will become more and more difficult for you to handle everything. The temptation to micromanage our business is something that many of us deal with, but it stops us short of reaching our goals in many cases.

Once you are free to concentrate on growing your business and have someone else helping with the other stuff, you can really grow.

And please, whatever you do, do not waste your days away playing on the internet and telling yourself that you are actually working. Getting distracted on the internet can absolutely kill your business.

If you follow these steps and focus, you will be able to successfully manage a successful, growing online business.

How To Find The MLM Training For You

July 12, 2010 By: Dwayne Pyle Category: Internet Business

When MLM business were flying in the sixties and seventies they developed MLM Training Courses to grow their numbers and increase their profits. Unfortunately some of these companies have not updated their material. The business has changed due to the Internet and with the new ideas and tools it has bought with it. But others have developed their courses to keep pace with the changes.

To be able to have become successful in MLM and achieve much higher profits than most you would have been lucky enough to have had great training in the business. So what did this training have that the others did not get, well it was the quality of the coach and the training material he used.

As you search around for the MLM course for you it will soon become clear that there is a lot to choose from. Some of these courses will help you achieve your ambitions, but others will just help you part with your money and will offer no useful advice whatsoever. There is a lot to consider when taking your initial step into MLM.

If you find a company that could be the one for you check out their success rate. If they are established and competent they will have no problem sharing their results with you. Also check out the qualifications of the person who is responsible for creating the course. As a rule they will not be able to teach you to a higher level than they achieved.

Another valuable criteria is to find out how long they have been running courses, obviously the longer the better as then they would have seen some low points in their time and the course will probably teach you either how to avoid them or how to recover from them.

The composition of the course in another important factor for you to consider. You should look for a course that offers training in the common business tools used in MLM. These tools also include communication software available on the internet so that you can utilize the power of teleconferencing, messaging by text and video and using e-mail efficiently. You might be lucky enough to find a course that also includes lessons in business development and organizational skills.

This is a business so you have to treat it like one. The quality of the course material such as recordings, visuals, and content are all very important You need to make sure that the quality of program is excellent and is not just rehashed content from somewhere.

When you have a shortlist of possible courses then seek out the opinions of others who have taken them. If the company who is confident in their business should be happy to let their previous clients talk to you. Phone Prospecting 101

July 04, 2010 By: Patrick FitzGibbon Category: Internet Business

I am willing to bet that most if not all people get asked “how much they make” not long after they start speaking to a prospect

It is an awkward and potentially damaging question unless you are making money and that is not always the case. Can you answer it or even better avoid it in the first place?

There are a few techniques to use that will certainly lower the chances that you get put on the spot…

1. Be an expert and present as a leader, they are the ones who need your help rather than you appearing desperate to enroll them.

2.Avoid income claims barring the fact you make plenty yourself and don’t raise company claims. You want to be telling your prospect how much he/she can make with your help rather than how much your up line leader made last week while on a cruise somewhere.

3. Aim to keep the focus on them, you should be anyway. Make sure you concentrate on the help they need, what their goals and dreams are and how you can assist them.

Even so you may still be asked ” how much” so how do you reply to it….

The situation will dictate your answer to a degree but you must always bring the focus back on them, you could ask…

“we want to know how we can help you and get you making an income…. not how much I make”

OR

“I am increasing my income weekly(if that’s true) due to the training and support I get from my company/organisation and that’s what we want you to be getting to so you can grow your income as I do”

Simply

“I am being taught by people who earn 6 and 7 figures monthly, they are the same ones who will be teaching you so my income is growing just as yours will too”.

I am sure you get the idea, do not be confrontational and certainly never make false claims. Rather make sure you lead with a sense of leadership and the value they will get from being part of your group.

It is most important that you make them understand the value they will get from the training and education you offer(most people are looking for this type of situation where you help them). Make them aware that you will be there and working with them when they start.

So you can avoid or answer this question and if a person really insists on knowing then they may well not be someone you want in your group anyway.

So use phone prospecting as the ultimate tool that it is, connecting one on one with people is always going to grow your business more efficiently.
